Li Yanran was not someone to be trifled with either. She retorted by mocking Han Xuefang’s modest curves, and when she spoke, she deliberately thrust out her own impressive chest.

Standing to the side, Chu Feng nearly had a nosebleed at the sight. Li Yanran’s figure was already more generous than most, and now, with her chest swaying provocatively, Chu Feng felt his heart involuntarily race with heat.

“Where are your filthy eyes wandering? If you keep staring, I’ll gouge them right out,” Li Yanran snapped, noticing Chu Feng’s gaze fixed on her chest. She quickly crossed her arms over her chest.

Yet her curves were so prominent that, with her arms beneath them, they seemed even more pronounced.

See no evil, see no evil, Chu Feng silently chanted to himself. He dared not look directly at her again—if this fiery policewoman lost her temper, he’d be in real trouble. Besides, Han Xuefang was still standing nearby.

“Chu Feng, don’t look at hers. Come to my house later and you can look at mine,” Han Xuefang said without a trace of shyness. Her face remained unflushed, as if her words were entirely reasonable.

Hearing this, Chu Feng’s eyes widened in surprise. He hadn’t expected Han Xuefang, just a young girl, to say such a thing.

“Brother Dog, it was this guy who bullied me just now,” Liu Long, who had earlier fallen face-first to the ground, now returned with a gang of street thugs.

Behind Liu Long stood more than a dozen hooligans, each wielding a bottle or a baseball bat, noses in the air as if their eyes were set on their foreheads.

“If you don’t want to spend the night at the station, drinking tea, then get lost. I’m not in a good mood today. If you don’t scram, you’ll bear the consequences,” Li Yanran growled, full of pent-up anger, finding the perfect outlet as Liu Long brought trouble her way.

“Hey, this chick’s not bad. Come on, little sweetheart, have a drink with your big brother.” The man Liu Long called Brother Dog stepped forward to leer at Li Yanran.

With a thud, Li Yanran launched a side kick straight at Brother Dog’s jaw. She put all her strength into it, sending him flying several meters. As he staggered to his feet, he spat out two teeth.

“Damn it, you little tramp! Refusing a toast, you’ll drink punishment instead. Boys, get her! Take this girl away so we can have some fun tonight!” Brother Dog whipped out a baton from behind his waist, and he, along with his cronies, surrounded Li Yanran.

“Chu Feng, help her! There are too many of them—she’ll be at a disadvantage,” Han Xuefang urged, forgetting their earlier spat.

Chu Feng didn’t reply, eyes fixed on Li Yanran, now encircled. Despite their constant bickering, he wouldn’t stand by while she was in danger.

“Get her!” someone shouted, and the gang of thugs surged toward Li Yanran.

Li Yanran, a police academy graduate who had trained in self-defense, could easily handle three or five men. But against more than a dozen, all armed, she quickly found herself outmatched.

“Don’t move. I’ll go help our big-chested heroine,” Chu Feng said to Han Xuefang, then dashed toward one of the thugs wielding a baton.

With a swift grab, Chu Feng snatched the baton from the thug’s hand and struck him on the back of the head, knocking him out cold.

Brandishing the baton, Chu Feng charged into the fray. Each swing was punctuated by a scream of pain. Within two minutes, all the thugs lay sprawled on the ground.

Brother Dog and Liu Long, standing a short distance away, stared at Chu Feng in terror. Liu Long never imagined Chu Feng could fight so fiercely.

“Big-chested girl, are you alright? When it really matters, you can count on me to save you,” Chu Feng said, approaching Li Yanran. She had fallen behind in the fight, but was otherwise unharmed.

“What did you just call me? Say it again, I dare you!” Li Yanran, about to thank him, flew into a rage at the nickname, snatching up a baton from the ground to chase after Chu Feng.

“Sorry, that slipped out. Officer Li, what do we do with these guys? Should you take them, or shall I?” Chu Feng quickly dodged aside, not giving her the chance to retaliate.

“I’ll call my colleagues to come pick them up. At the very least, we can charge them with assaulting an officer,” Li Yanran said, pulling out her phone to make a call, while Chu Feng returned to his seat and resumed eating.

Brother Dog and Liu Long, seeing Chu Feng ignore them, tried to sneak away. They had barely taken a few steps when searing pain shot through their legs, and both dropped to their knees.

“Didn’t you hear what that officer just said? All of you are going to the station for tea,” Chu Feng said, having flung his chopsticks like scalpels into their thighs as they tried to escape.

“Brother—no, sir, I didn’t recognize greatness when I saw it. Please, let me off just this once,” Brother Dog pleaded, kneeling and kowtowing to Chu Feng. If he were arrested and charged with assaulting an officer, he’d be looking at a long stint in jail.

“Listen, I’m a director at Nebula Entertainment. I have some clout in this area. We’ll run into each other again—don’t push things too far,” Liu Long tried to use his title to intimidate Chu Feng, but compared to Brother Dog, his bravado rang hollow.

At least Brother Dog knew how to bow his head to the strong; Liu Long only had his money. If he were an ordinary man, surviving this long would have been a miracle.

Chu Feng said nothing, calmly continuing his meal. Li Yanran and Han Xuefang sat on either side of him, neither touching their food, glaring coldly at each other.

Soon, several police cars arrived and officers spilled onto the street.

“Take all of them away,” barked a rotund man leading the group, directing the officers to load the thugs into the cars.

“Captain Li, are you alright?” the man fussed over Li Yanran.

“Director Ye, I’m fine. Take those two kneeling men as well—they’re the ringleaders who brought this gang,” Li Yanran said, pointing at Liu Long and Brother Dog.
