Zhou Yu cursed, "Damn it, can’t you handle anything without me? Why do I have to do everything?"

Liu Long chuckled. "Those who can, do more."

Zhou Yu retorted, "Do more, my ass. I’m pretty impressive in bed too, why don’t you let me spend your wedding night for you?"

No sooner had Zhou Yu finished speaking than a hand seized his ear.

A fierce voice demanded, "Oh? So you want to spend the wedding night for someone else, do you?"

Zhou Yu didn’t even need to look to know it was Nian Yu; only she loved to pull his ear like that.

"Ow, ow, ow! It hurts, wife, it hurts! Let go, I won’t talk about wedding nights anymore! I swear, no more wedding nights!" Zhou Yu cried out.

Nian Yu tightened her grip a little, saying, "Oh? No more wedding nights, you say? Come now, explain to me—who is it you won’t be spending the wedding night with?"

Zhou Yu pleaded, "No one else! I was wrong, please let go!"

Everyone burst out laughing, with Liu Long laughing the hardest.

Once upon a time, Zhou Yu was the cheekiest among them, and Liu Long had always been the one Zhou Yu teased the most. Now, finally, someone could put Zhou Yu in his place, and Liu Long was thoroughly enjoying it.

Nian Yu pouted and said, "That’s better."

Zhou Yu rubbed his ear and, after making sure Nian Yu was seated, said, "Alright, I’ll do the thinking."

He swept his gaze across everyone and said, "Here’s what I’m thinking. I have two plans—listen up."

"First option: If there are just small groups of zombies, we split up. I’ll take one group, Xin Xin will take another, Xiao Long another, Xiao Hu another, and Xiao Leng will take Zhao Yan with him. We’ll be responsible for clearing out the zombies."

"Haozi will secure a vantage point and assist us. Wang Kui will also take a high spot, but his job is security, not support."

"The rest will stay back, ready to respond and provide supplies."

He glanced around. "Any objections to the first plan?"

Nian Yu spoke up, "I have an objection."

Zhou Yu frowned. "What’s your issue?"

Nian Yu replied, "Why can’t I go?"

"First," Zhou Yu said, "apart from your newfound ability, you’re not up to much right now. Second, I’m worried about you, alright?"

Nian Yu pouted, "You just think I’m stupid."

"Enough," Zhou Yu said. "If there are no objections, I’ll share the second plan."

No one spoke, waiting for him to continue.

"Second option: If we’re up against a large horde, we force our way through. Don’t get greedy—kill a few, then pull back immediately."

"The assault team will be me, Xin Xin, Xiao Long, Xiao Hu, and Xiao Leng."

"Haozi will take a safe position to provide covering fire for our withdrawal."

"Wang Kui will secure a high spot and help cover our backs when needed."

"Zhao Yan’s on security."

"The rest of you, same as before. But for this plan, make sure Haozi doesn’t run out of supplies—especially bullets. He’s our main protection during retreat. If he runs out, things could get ugly."

Everyone nodded. "Understood."

"Alright, if there’s nothing else, let’s break up. Xin Xin, Xiao Long, the rest of you—come with me to the car."

Inside the RV, Zhou Yu took out two Hundred-Forged Daggers and said to Xin Xin, "Girl, I know you like daggers. Take these two with you."

After putting aside the Daxia Dragon Sparrow, that unnamed long spear, and the Muramasa Demon Blade, Zhou Yu said, "See if there’s anything you can use. Take whatever you need."
