Zhou Yu paused for a moment before speaking. "Her name is Pan Yuxin. We call her Xinxin. Her codename is 'Loli,' but people outside refer to her as the Enchantress."

After introducing her, Zhou Yu began to present the others he had brought along.

Pointing to the middle-aged couple, he said, "The man's name is Wang Dali, and the woman is Liu Cui. I happened to rescue them; they're husband and wife, both construction workers."

Then, gesturing toward another middle-aged man, he continued, "This is Liu De, also rescued together. He's a blacksmith."

Turning to Wang Kui, he said, "This is Wang Kui, a retired soldier, formerly a sniper."

Next, looking at Zhao Yan, he added, "This is Zhao Yan, also a retired soldier, previously a reconnaissance specialist. I rescued him along with the others, but these two have certain skills, so they've stayed with me."

Zhou Yu paused again. He first took Nianyu's hand and said, "This is Nianyu—she's my wife."

Then, taking Xiao Jie’s hand, he declared, "This is Xiao Jie, also my wife."

Suddenly, a small figure rushed toward Zhou Yu.

He glanced over and considered dodging, but in the end, he did not move.

Pan Yuxin threw herself into Zhou Yu’s arms, tears streaming down her face as she sobbed, “Little Yu, why, why did you…?”

Liu Long heaved a sigh and was the first to step into the house.

Seeing this, Liu Hu and the others followed him inside. They all knew what Pan Yuxin was asking.

Zhao Yan was momentarily stunned, then tugged Wang Kui into the house as well.

One after another, the group entered, leaving only Nianyu and Xiao Jie outside.

Zhou Yu was momentarily at a loss. He gently ruffled Pan Yuxin’s hair and asked, “Silly girl, what do you mean ‘why’? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Pan Yuxin looked up at him and demanded, “What’s with those two women? Why did you bring them back?”

Seeing her red, tear-stained eyes, Zhou Yu’s heart softened. “Silly girl, didn’t I just say? They’re your little Yu’s wives—your sisters-in-law. Since I’m here, of course I brought them along.”

Pan Yuxin, still crying, protested, “I don’t want that! I don’t want sisters-in-law—I want to be your wife, Little Yu! They can’t, they just can’t.”

As she spoke, Pan Yuxin slipped out of Zhou Yu’s embrace and drew a dagger from behind her back.

She muttered, “That’s right, they can’t. If I kill them all, then Little Yu will be mine. Yes, I’ll kill them…”

At the sight of the dagger, Zhou Yu realized things could go wrong. He quickly grabbed Pan Yuxin’s arm.

“Silly girl, don’t make a scene. You mustn’t hurt them, understand?”

Pan Yuxin looked up at him, her voice trembling, “But... but... but I’m the one who should be your wife, Little Yu.”

Noticing her aggrieved expression, Zhou Yu replied, “Listen, no matter how you feel, put the dagger away first. Hear me out.”

He waited in silence until Pan Yuxin put the dagger away.

Then he said, “Little girl, your Little Yu truly loves them. I have sworn that no one will ever hurt them. If you truly care for me, go and speak with them yourself.”

Nianyu and Xiao Jie had heard everything. Nianyu said, “Zhou Yu, you go inside first. Talk things over with your friends. We’ll have a chat with this little girl.”

Zhou Yu nodded and started for the house, but then he turned back to Pan Yuxin and said, “Little girl, you mustn’t harm them, or I’ll never speak to you again.”

Pan Yuxin nodded silently.

Seeing her nod, Zhou Yu said no more and went inside.
