Chapter 120: Strip Her Clothes

There was actually still a chance of that happening. Everyone felt a chill of lingering fear upon hearing it. That man was practically the embodiment of a devil.

After seeking the warriors’ consent, Yun Yang had them enter the virtual space, then brought the Heavenly Blade Seven back.

Their exoskeletons had merely been fitted with dark alloy components; they were not made entirely of dark alloy. That impact had damaged quite a few parts. They might have functioned normally under ordinary circumstances, but in battle, even the slightest malfunction could cost someone their life. It was fortunate that he had withdrawn them first.

After filing his report, Yun Yang had only just returned to the Heavenly Blade Seven when he found several medics waiting. The moment the warriors emerged from the virtual space, they were taken away for the most thorough examinations possible.

“Not bad, brother. Keeping a beauty hidden away in a golden house, and carrying her around with you too. I really can’t compete.”

A warrior who had removed his faceplate walked up to Yun Yang and spoke with a strange expression.

Hearing this, the other warriors removed their faceplates as well and stared at Yun Yang with equally peculiar looks, leaving him completely bewildered.

How had he ended up keeping a beauty hidden away? Could they be talking about Xiaoyi? Thinking of this, Yun Yang hurriedly explained, “The one in the virtual space is my younger sister. Don’t get the wrong idea.”

“We understand. We understand completely. A super warrior and his angelic little sister.”

It was the same warrior as before, speaking with an exaggerated expression and words that were even easier to misunderstand.

Yun Yang more or less understood what had happened. They must have seen the injured angel. The first one who had been hurt should have nearly recovered by now. Should he go in and take a look?

With that thought, Yun Yang entered the virtual space. The first thing he saw was an angel clad in silver armor, sitting on the sofa with vacant eyes, seemingly lost in thought.

As though sensing something, she turned toward him. Then, looking delighted, she said, “My god, you’re finally here! Take me out. My sisters are still fighting. I can’t be a deserter.”

“I can take you out, but the battle is already over.”

Yun Yang spread his hands, indicating that there was no battle left for her to fight.

She rubbed her smooth golden hair in distress, then covered her little face and murmured, “I was careless again. Injured again. I was really too careless.”

Yun Yang could not make out what she was muttering. After thinking for a moment, he said, “If you want to leave, just tell Xiaoyi directly.”

At that moment, Xiaoyi emerged from the room where the medical pods were kept and looked toward Yun Yang.

“Master, should I let her out?”

“Uh, Xiaoyi, that wording is very easy to misunderstand.”

The more Yun Yang thought about it, the more suggestive it sounded, as though he had captured the angel and locked her up. He covered his face as he replied.

Xiaoyi said nothing. She merely tilted her little head, unable to understand what he meant by “misunderstand.”

“Let me out, my god,” the angel pleaded weakly, touching Yun Yang’s armor.

As soon as she finished speaking, Yun Yang looked toward Xiaoyi.

“Let her out. No—that’s not what I mean. Let her leave.”

“Goodbye,” Xiaoyi said.

She waved her hand, and the angel vanished before Yun Yang’s eyes.

Yun Yang then went over to the medical pods. Looking at the two angels whose wounds had nearly healed, he felt that he was truly magnificent. He had actually managed to save three beautiful angels.

After chatting with Xiaoyi for a while longer, Yun Yang’s figure reappeared aboard the Heavenly Blade Seven. Those who had gone to seize the enemy vessel had all returned as well. It could be considered a complete victory.

For some reason, however, Moy seemed troubled, her brow furrowed with worry.

Yun Yang felt that there should not be any major problems. After all, not a single angel had died in this battle. With Qilin’s assistance and his own support during the fight, even the three gravely wounded angels had been saved by him.

Afterward, Yun Yang sat on the edge of a flower bed and recalled the battle for a while. When he remembered what he had done in the command room, his stomach suddenly began to churn.

Fortunately, he had not eaten much, so he did not make a fool of himself. He quickly gathered his thoughts and dared not dwell on those things any longer.

The people responsible for cleaning up the battlefield were truly pitiful. That scene… heh.

Thinking maliciously, Yun Yang plucked a slender weed resembling foxtail grass and held it between his teeth. He intended to rest for a while; the burden of that battle had been considerable.

Not long afterward, Yun Yang saw the three angels—Leng, Zhui, and Moy—gathered together, apparently discussing something. Their expressions grew increasingly grim, and he had no idea what was going on.

Before long, he saw the angels who had just returned to the Heavenly Blade Seven spread their wings and fly away again. He had no idea what they intended to do.

Yun Yang, however, declared that he was not interested. After being busy for so long, he needed to rest. Before he knew it, he had fallen asleep beside the flower bed.

Demon One, command room.

Morgana stared at the five angels in front of her. Their dark energy had been sealed, and they had been bound with chains. The corner of her mouth twitched as she cursed Aatrox inwardly for his incompetence.

Bringing back one or two would have been understandable. But they had actually captured this many. What were they trying to do? Lure the Heavenly Blade Seven over and fight it head-on?

She waved a hand, waking one of the angels, and said, “Little roast chicken—cough, cough—little angel, what is your opinion of us?”

The angel looked confused by Morgana’s question and stammered, “What?”

She then glanced around and saw the neatly dressed demons surrounding her, along with four of her sisters lying unconscious nearby.

Her heart began to pound wildly, and a trace of despair appeared in her eyes. In the next instant, however, determination replaced despair. She sprang to her feet and shouted, “For justice, I fear no death!”

Then she slammed her head toward Morgana.

Morgana dodged, causing the angel to crash straight into Ato.

Considering Ato’s height and the helmet atop an angel warrior’s head, the sudden development made his expression change at once.

This angel was truly vicious. She actually wanted to make him the chief chamberlain of Demon One. That would never do. Ato summoned the fastest reaction of his life and barely managed to dodge.

Behind him stood a table. Seeing that the angel was about to strike the corner, Atai felt his heart ache. On the battlefield, he could cross blades with the angels without hesitation. But these captured angels would eventually become the guardian angels of the demons—their representatives of beauty.

With a flash of movement, he stepped between them. There was a loud thud as the little angel’s head struck Atai’s chest, followed by the creak of the table.

She was a first-generation angel with her dark energy restricted. After putting all her strength into crashing into Atai, a second-and-a-half-generation warrior, she promptly fainted again in spectacular fashion.

Atai’s face turned red beneath his dark complexion, giving him a rather comical appearance. Covering his lower back with his left hand, he felt as though his kidneys had been shattered, and grief welled up inside him.

He had only just snatched back several little angels. Was he really going to die here? The pain in his body and the sorrow in his heart caused him to slowly bend over and collapse onto the floor.

The entire scene happened in an instant. Two people had gone down at once, leaving the surrounding demons utterly bewildered.

But when they saw Atai clutching the angel’s little hand, the atmosphere exploded. The demons became furious, shouting angrily all around him.

Morgana suppressed the uproar with a light cough. Then she waved her hand again and woke another angel.

The two angels reacted in much the same way upon waking. First they looked confused. Once they understood their situation, they shouted, “For justice, I fear no death!” to steel themselves, then tried to charge into Morgana.

Morgana’s face darkened. She pressed one angel’s head down with a single hand, preventing her from moving forward even an inch.

Then she repeated, “What is your opinion of us?”

“Hmph!”

The little angel, realizing that she could not reach Morgana, turned her head aside and snorted coldly.

“Strip her.”

Seeing the little angel’s defiant expression, Morgana turned her back and spoke indifferently.

The demons let out excited cries. In perfect unison, they reached out their hands and prepared to act.

The change happened so quickly that the angel’s face, which had been flushed with anger, instantly turned as pale as paper.

She had intended to stubbornly keep silent. But when the demons’ fingers touched her breastplate, she panicked. She was terrified that those hideous demons would defile her.

“No, don’t! I’ll talk! I’ll tell you what I think!”

“Stop.”

Morgana waved a hand, halting the demons.

Although they were deeply unwilling to stop, this was an angel, after all. Not every demon wanted to become a guardian angel. That required love, and love was far too difficult.

In truth, most demons merely coveted the angels’ bodies. As for becoming guardian angels, they could just sleep and dream about it—anything was possible in dreams. As demons, the most important thing was to know their own limits.

Still, the Queen’s orders had to be obeyed. They could only stop reluctantly, hoping that the angel would say something else to anger the Queen so they could finally get their wish.

By then, the angel had already fallen into endless regret. Her earlier words made her feel as though she had betrayed the order of justice and compromised with demons who had fallen into evil.

Could an angel who did such a thing still be called an angel? Perhaps not.

At that thought, the little angel’s eyes instantly reddened before the assembled demons. Huge tears rolled down her cheeks one after another, making her look like an abandoned kitten.

Some of the demons became flustered and uncertain what to do. Others grew excited in an instant. A few elite demons, like Ato, remained expressionless.

Morgana did not care why the angel was crying. In an unquestionable tone, she said, “Speak.”

The little angel’s body trembled. She regretted her lack of resolve even more. She was no longer a pure angel. She no longer had the face to live beneath the banner of justice and order.

To ensure that her end would be a glorious one, the little angel raised her head and glared at Morgana with reddened eyes.

“Demons are fallen, evil, and ugly creatures! That is what you are—fallen and evil!”

After cursing them, she closed her eyes and waited for her life to end. She forced a smile onto her face, ready to upload a record of her life.

Yet the fury she had expected did not erupt among the demons. Instead, hearty laughter rang out, and they all seemed exceptionally pleased.

The angel assumed that the demons were so delighted because they were about to kill her. She straightened her chest, raised her little chin slightly, and adopted a fearless posture that declared she would never submit.
