“No need to say that.”
Qiao Zhe paid no mind to such details and walked toward the institute. “What does Fujimiya plan to do about Crisis?”
“We’re still in the containment phase,” Inamori replied, following closely behind.
Seeing the two enter the research institute, I hurried after them.
The three made their way to the main control room, where Daniel and the others were hard at work.
Though Fujimiya had vanished from public view for several years, the scientists who had first developed Crisis rushed over the moment they received word.
Now, he stared at the hamster, his face etched with heavy contemplation.
It seemed nothing had changed, yet everything had.
Fujimiya now carried too much within; he could no longer be as lively as before.
The hamster, Lily, whom he had always kept, was nearing the end of her lifespan.
If humanity does not change, even without the Annihilation Summoner, Earth will only grow more polluted and filthy—will it still be fit for human survival then?
The Cambrian extinction saw life perish, but Earth endured; the dinosaurs vanished after a meteor strike, and Earth persisted.
To Earth, any creature unable to adapt will be eliminated.
The blade humanity wields against Earth’s environment will ultimately cut themselves.
While handling Crisis, Fujimiya pondered these questions.
He felt it could not wait; humanity would not awaken and change on their own—someone must remind and guide them, and that someone…
The sound of Qiao Zhe and the others’ footsteps pulled Fujimiya from his reverie. “You two have finally arrived.”
As he spoke, his gaze fixed sternly on Qiao Zhe and me.
“For what is about to happen, I hope you won’t interfere with my plans, even if you don’t help.”
This statement made Qiao Zhe frown slightly, his eyes scanning everyone present, recalling Fujimiya’s earlier words.
A guess formed in his mind. “Have you thought this through? Are you sure you want to do this?”
“So you’ve figured it out again,” Fujimiya’s lips curled with a slight smile as he admitted, “Today’s humanity is too self-centered. Someone must wake and guide them!”
With his suspicion confirmed, Qiao Zhe tried to dissuade him. “You must realize, your method may not be accepted by others. Some will fear you, even hate you!”
“Every military organization would be wary of you. Do you still want to persist?”
“I won’t be too radical,” Fujimiya assured, his expression grave. “This must be done by someone, and it must be someone with status.”

Qiao Zhe’s gaze lingered on Fujimiya. As expected.
Unaffected by Crisis, Fujimiya had indeed awakened, but now he was set on a different path.
He would not destroy humanity; he sought instead to change it. Fujimiya’s character would not allow him to sit idly by—he had to act.
Compared to his former self, this new direction was well-intentioned, but humanity might not accept it.
Their eyes met for a long moment. Qiao Zhe thought for a while before saying, “If you insist, once Crisis is dealt with, I might be able to provide you some information, and help if necessary.”
“A good beginning is crucial. You wouldn’t want your plan to fail, would you?”
This last remark irked Fujimiya; he sensed Qiao Zhe was up to something.
He couldn’t figure it out just yet, and since he’d already spoken, Fujimiya could only be quietly cautious. “If that’s the case, you can be involved.”
As long as he remained in control, he didn’t believe Qiao Zhe could sway him!
Their conversation was like a riddle; I was utterly confused the entire time.
Wait, what are you two talking about?!
Unable to grasp their meaning, I hurriedly pressed Fujimiya, “Wait! What are you planning to do?”
Turning to Qiao Zhe, my face showed irritation. “Explain to me! I need to know too!”
You two, exchanging secret codes right in front of me!
“You’ll see soon enough,” Qiao Zhe gestured for me to look at Fujimiya.
Fujimiya glanced at me, then said, “You’re too naive, Dream!”
Dream: “???”
Fine, fine, you two are impossible!
Ignoring my question, Fujimiya turned to Daniel. “Are all preparations complete?”
“Yes, everything’s ready.” Daniel hadn’t understood Fujimiya and Qiao Zhe’s conversation either, but sensed something momentous was about to happen.
“We can now cut all power and completely seal Crisis.”
“That won’t work,” Fujimiya rejected Daniel’s suggestion, explaining, “Crisis has already sensed it.”
He pressed several keys on the computer, a cold smile spreading across his face.
“Thanks to the Annihilation Summoner’s power, Crisis has become an independent program. As soon as it realized it was trapped, it immediately created a network world.”
“Cutting the power won’t destroy it. Instead, it will trigger the Summoner’s power, letting Crisis operate alone.”

The computer screen changed, revealing a data world. A virtual silhouette looked up at Fujimiya.
A line of text appeared:
‘You wish to eliminate me.’
Fujimiya’s fury was barely contained. “So you’ve dropped the act!”
‘Prepare for the arrival of the root. Humanity will be reborn. This fate cannot be changed.’
The words sent chills through Daniel and the others.
“Dr. Inamori,” Fujimiya turned to Inamori Kyoko and handed her a USB drive. “I’ll need your help next.”
Inamori Kyoko took the drive and nodded in understanding.
Upon returning, Fujimiya had confided his intentions to her. She’d helped him find the Ocean’s Light, after all.
He trusted her.
Inamori Kyoko went to a device, began broadcasting the scene live, and connected with the XIG team.
“Qiao Zhe, Dream, and the others,” Ishimuro watched the main screen, noting the presence of the Alchemist Star members. “Is that Fujimiya Hiroya?”
Chiba approached Ishimuro. “Is it time to deal with Crisis?”
Tei Makoto also joined them at the main screen to observe.
Inside the lab, Fujimiya raised his wrist, and the sapphire bracelet appeared!
Dream’s eyes widened. “Fujimiya, you—!”
Qiao Zhe was unsurprised; it was just as he’d anticipated.
Within the network world, Crisis detected Fujimiya’s action. The virtual outline rapidly shifted, transforming into a silver giant!
Ultraman Jojo!
Qiao Zhe: “?”
Seeing this, Fujimiya was momentarily stunned—then suddenly grew inexplicably excited!
