“Wang Qiang, you son of a—!”

Ye Feng roared angrily, swinging a baseball bat wildly as he charged toward the man and woman.

The two, caught in the heat of the moment, were startled. Especially when they saw Ye Feng wielding the deadly weapon with such fury, they barely had time to pull up their pants before turning and fleeing wildly with their bare behinds exposed.

Meanwhile, the woman lying on the ground quickly dressed herself.

By then, Ye Feng had reached them and was immediately embraced by the woman.

“Ye Feng, there’s no need for this. We already ended things on the ship. Now, there’s nothing between us,” Zhang Xiaoman said, clutching his leg tightly.

“Get lost!”

Ye Feng kicked Zhang Xiaoman away, who was half-dressed and in pain.

He admitted that he still couldn’t forget Zhang Xiaoman. After all, she was his tirelessly pursued girlfriend, his first love whom he had treated with his whole heart.

Though this scene pained him deeply, such feelings were not so easily erased.

Whether on the ship or here, despite his utter disappointment with her, his heart’s turbulent emotions told him that Zhang Xiaoman still lingered within.

“Ye Feng, how dare you kick me? I never thought you had violent tendencies. Looks like I was right to leave you,” Zhang Xiaoman said with a face full of accusation as she slowly stood up and hurriedly tidied her disheveled clothes.

Her words struck Ye Feng's heart painfully.

Did she have no remorse at all?

He had sacrificed so much for their love, only to end up with this.

Could it be that from the very start, she never had him in her heart?

For a moment, he felt a sharp pain deep inside—real, agonizing pain.

“Ye Feng, I’m telling you, I left you for a reason. Think about it carefully yourself!” Zhang Xiaoman added, emboldened by the effect of her words.

“Where exactly did I go wrong?” Ye Feng raised his head, confused. He couldn’t understand where he had failed.

At first, he thought it might have been his fault, but after reflecting, he could not figure out what he had done to deserve such treatment.

“Ye Feng, Xiaoman’s right. If you couldn’t keep her, that’s on you. Don’t blame Xiaoman. She wouldn’t have done this without a reason,” Wang Qiang said as he walked over, now fully dressed.

“Shut the hell up!” Ye Feng shouted furiously at Wang Qiang, causing the bruised man to immediately fall silent.

Ye Feng’s slender frame was no match for his anger.

“Ye Feng, is that all you can do? Just shout?” Zhang Xiaoman sneered disdainfully.

“Back when Ye Feng was working day and night, taking on part-time jobs just to buy you a birthday gift, do you even think that’s excessive?” Chen Jing, who had been watching silently, spoke up.

“Who do you think you are? Chen the Top Student? So now you’re with Ye Feng? Fine, with you around, he can forget me even faster,” Zhang Xiaoman scoffed, casting Chen a contemptuous glance.

Chen’s face darkened, unsure how to respond.

The atmosphere was tense to the breaking point.

“Let me introduce myself: I’m Lin Yao, Ye Feng’s current girlfriend!” Suddenly, Lin Yao stepped forward and grabbed Ye Feng’s arm.

Her sudden embrace snapped Ye Feng back to reality.

“Ye Feng doesn’t know you. I get that you want to stand up for him, but once you really understand Ye Feng, you’ll regret what you said today,” Zhang Xiaoman said, eyeing Lin Yao with surprise and a twinge of jealousy.

This guy actually has a beauty like her by his side?

But the next moment, she felt even more envious.

Lin Yao planted a quick kiss on Ye Feng’s cheek.

Though brief, it was done openly under everyone’s gaze.

In that instant, Zhang Xiaoman felt a painful sense of betrayal.

“Maybe you were blind before, Ye Feng, but now you definitely aren’t. I’m the girlfriend who will truly satisfy you,” Lin Yao said, casting a challenging look at Zhang Xiaoman.

“What do you mean by that?” Zhang Xiaoman’s eyes flashed with anger, clearly catching the implication.

“Nothing much—just pity for Ye Feng. It’s a shame he still has shadows from the past. If I had come along earlier, those shadows wouldn’t exist,” Lin Yao said, her words clearly aimed at Zhang Xiaoman without naming her directly.

“You bitch! How dare you insult me?” Zhang Xiaoman snapped, unable to hold back.

“Smack!”

A sharp slap landed across Zhang Xiaoman’s cheek, the force swelling her face visibly before everyone’s eyes.

The scene stunned everyone present.

“You… you dare hit me?” Zhang Xiaoman staggered, clutching her face, disbelief written all over her.

“If you insult my girlfriend, you deserve it! Ten seconds to get out of my sight before I lose control and throw you out to the dogs,” Ye Feng said dominantly, pulling Lin Yao tightly into his embrace.

Since this favor was willingly offered, he wasn’t about to refuse it.

That slap was not just for her insulting Lin Yao, but more so for betraying him.

He had held back on the cruise, but this time, he had reached his limit.

Especially after hearing Zhang Xiaoman’s words, he realized he truly didn’t know her at all.

He never imagined she had such a face.

“Ye Feng, you bastard! I’m going to fight you!” Zhang Xiaoman, once cherished and treated like a princess by Ye Feng, couldn’t accept him hitting her.

Like a madwoman, she wildly charged at Ye Feng.

“Smack!”

Another slap sent her crashing to the ground.

“Seven seconds left,” Ye Feng said coldly.

“You’re ruthless, Ye Feng. I want to see if you can even get out of here alive,” Wang Qiang sneered, then hurriedly dragged the disgraced Zhang Xiaoman away.

“I hope you survive too. Next time we meet, I won’t go so easy on you,” Wang Qiang said as he stumbled slightly but kept moving away.

“Comfortable in my arms?” Lin Yao suddenly said out of nowhere.

“Cough, cough, yes, very soft,” Ye Feng replied instinctively, quickly letting go, realizing the awkwardness of what he just said.

What did I just say?

How embarrassing!
