Volume One, Chapter 11: The Proctology Specialist
“Still not letting go of me??”
After a long pause, Chen Jing’s voice rang out, a mixture of embarrassment and anger.
Ye Feng immediately released her, his face flushing slightly.
“Chen Jing, Ye Feng is just a big pervert. Be more careful around him from now on,” Lin Yao said from the side, her tone tinged with jealousy for reasons unknown.
Chen Jing said nothing, bowing her head and turning away from the group, taking some time to calm down.
Although she was a top student and usually rational, when it came to matters of the heart—especially at her age—reason often gave way to feeling.
“Lin Yao, you’re taller than me. Why don’t you go up and take a look?” Chen Jing suddenly said.
Lin Yao didn’t refuse. Standing about 1.72 meters, she was at least half a head taller than Chen Jing, a noticeable height difference.
“Wow, coconuts! So many coconuts! We won’t starve now!” Lin Yao exclaimed excitedly the moment she climbed up.
Hearing this, the others brightened.
With Lin Yao above and Ye Feng below, they helped Chen Jing and Lin Xiaoxiao up onto the large rock.
The space atop the boulder was spacious, and they all sat down.
Now only Ye Feng remained on the ground.
Though he was the tallest among them, facing a three-meter-high rock, there was no way he could climb up alone.
“I just remembered—I picked up a rope this morning, thinking it might come in handy later. Didn’t expect it to be so soon,” Chen Jing said excitedly.
She lowered a two-meter-long rope down.
As Ye Feng prepared to climb, a hand grabbed him.
“Ye Feng, I… I was wrong before. Can you take me with you?” Gao Fei’er hurriedly caught up, sensing the danger, and pleaded.
Once Ye Feng and the others were over, she wouldn’t be able to climb up alone, and she didn’t want to be left behind.
“Apologize? What good does that do? We took you in kindly, risked our lives to save you, and you just leave after one sentence? What do you take us for?” Lin Yao snapped, unable to contain her anger.
“Ye Feng, what’s that?” Chen Jing’s voice trembled suddenly.
Everyone looked toward the path they came from, where a hyena with a fierce scowl was slowly approaching.
Seeing this, Ye Feng’s heart tightened.
“Forget personal grudges for now—help her up first!” Ye Feng immediately held Gao Fei’er’s slender frame, telling her to grab the rope.
“Ye Feng’s right—put personal grudges aside and pull her up!” Chen Jing added.
Though still angry, Lin Yao ultimately helped Gao Fei’er up.
The hyena noticed their movements and quickened its pace.
Just as Gao Fei’er climbed up, the hyena reached them, and Ye Feng had no time to react.
“If anything happens to Ye Feng today, we’re not done!” Lin Yao’s eyes reddened with anger as she glared fiercely at Gao Fei’er.
Gao Fei’er said nothing, her beautiful eyes fixed on the hyena, hands clenched tightly, her expression tense and fearful.
“Have you ever watched ‘The Animal Kingdom’?” Ye Feng suddenly asked, gripping his baseball bat tightly.
“Of course we have! Isn’t that a hyena?” Chen Jing answered immediately.
“Do you know what characteristic hyenas have?”
“Weakness? I actually don’t know,” Chen Jing replied, shaking her head. She had watched ‘The Animal Kingdom’ for entertainment but never studied the animals’ weaknesses.
“Hyenas are known as experts in anal probing. I wonder if I’ll be able to keep my own intact today.”
“……”
“*Pfft*” Gao Fei’er suddenly burst out laughing.
“What are you laughing at?” Lin Yao was a bit angry. At a time like this, with Ye Feng in danger, how could she laugh? Was she enjoying others’ misfortune?
“He’s joking with us. Didn’t you all notice?” Gao Fei’er said quickly.
Gao Fei’er was not only the tallest among them but also the most voluptuous.
Although not as beautiful as Lin Yao, she still rivaled the class beauties.
More importantly, she was the oldest and most mature of the group—naturally more composed and perceptive.
“Joking with us?” The girls exchanged confused glances.
Before they could ponder further, Ye Feng seized the moment and swung his bat fiercely.
Due to the confined space, the hyena couldn’t dodge well.
Combined with Ye Feng’s speed, the blow landed squarely, sending the hyena tumbling down.
Its agonized howls sent chills down their spines.
“Hyenas travel in packs. Since there’s one here, there must be more nearby. Ye Feng, get up quickly,” Chen Jing urged as they all pulled together.
Ye Feng climbed up swiftly.
The moment he reached the top, a distant roar sent shivers down their spines.
“It seems that hyena’s screams have attracted others. They’ll probably be here soon. We’d better get out of here,” Ye Feng said, eyes fixed ahead.
Fortunately, the terrain on the other side wasn’t as treacherous.
The giant rock was layered with smaller stones, making descent easier.
Once down, the environment changed—a vast grove of coconut trees heavy with coconuts.
Having stared at them in disbelief, after days of eating compressed biscuits, the sight of fresh food naturally excited them.
“Woman, you can leave now!” Lin Yao said excitedly, but without forgetting to address Gao Fei’er.
“That mutant earlier was my colleague. The others were all killed by wolves. I… I only know you now,” Gao Fei’er’s voice trembled, her eyes filled with deep fear.
Last night had been her worst nightmare.
“Hmph, you trusted your colleagues? Short-sighted and ungrateful. We don’t need people like you. You might stab us in the back one day. Ye Feng, send her away quickly—I feel sick just seeing her,” Lin Yao scoffed disdainfully.
“There might already be many hyenas gathered outside. Letting her go now is like sending her to her death. Let’s grab some coconuts first to replenish our energy,” Ye Feng said reluctantly, pulling away from Gao Fei’er.
“Big pervert!” Lin Yao glared at him, watching his every move.
Ye Feng rubbed his nose sheepishly.
Though disappointed in Gao Fei’er, disappointment didn’t mean he wanted to watch her die.
He said nothing further. On this deserted island, survival instinct must take precedence.
“Ye Feng, it sounds like there’s someone ahead?” Suddenly, from the depths of the coconut grove, a faint voice drifted toward them.
At once, Ye Feng swung his bat and cautiously approached the source.
As they drew nearer, the strange sound became clearer.
It was a woman’s heavy breathing…
And they saw two people—a man and a woman—engaged in an indescribable act.
This sight flushed the faces of the girls.
Ye Feng’s expression darkened to the extreme.
