Chapter 104: The Astonishing Truth (Seeking First Subscription! Third Update)
Even if Xianyu Qing’s blood contained traces of the antidote, its effect was negligible. Even if she drained every drop of blood from her own body for him to drink, it would be to no avail!
"What should I do then..." Xianyu Qing’s eyes were rimmed with red.
She did not want anything to happen to Jiang Mohe! If he died protecting her, she would carry that guilt for the rest of her life.
Jiang Mohe mustered his strength to comfort her: "Those guys are still searching outside. Do not leave... stay here. I have a tracker in my body; Ren and the others will find us..."
After Jiang Mohe finished his fragmented instructions, he could no longer hold on.
"Mr. Jiang!"
Xianyu Qing called out to him in panic, but received no response.
Seeing his breathing grow weaker, Xianyu Qing sliced open her palm again, attempting to feed him more of her blood. Even if it couldn't neutralize the poison, perhaps it could help him hold on a little longer—there was still hope!
However, Jiang Mohe was no longer able to swallow.
Xianyu Qing stared blankly for a moment, then she bit into her palm and sucked hard. Lowering her head to his lips, she clumsily imitated the scenes she had seen in movies, passing the blood from her mouth into his.
Yet, movies were just movies. Xianyu Qing tried several times, but failed repeatedly.
Just as she was about to give up, she felt Jiang Mohe swallow slowly, so she fed him several more mouthfuls.
Fortunately, it finally went down!
This time, Jiang Mohe did not wake up, but Xianyu Qing noticed that his wounds were no longer bleeding incessantly; they were slowly, gradually beginning to clot.
She heaved a sigh of relief—Jiang Mohe’s life was saved for now!
Afterward, Xianyu Qing tore a few more strips from her skirt to re-bandage Jiang Mohe’s wounds, watching as his breathing gradually shifted from shallow to steady.

Inside the top-floor office of the Di Hong Building, Nangong Ao sat with a grim face, staring intently at Ren, who was still searching for Jiang Mohe’s signal.
All night long, there had been no news. Not only was there no word from Xianyu Qing, but Bai Luomei had also vanished without a trace.
Originally, the "lure the snake out of its hole" plan had been designed and executed by Bai Luomei.
They had considered every possible scenario, but they hadn't anticipated that Jiang Mohe’s signal would be lost, nor that Bai Luomei would go missing!
For this operation, Bai Luomei was in charge of every detail. This included planting elites like Asi among the Mo family staff, instructing Jiang Mohe to protect Xianyu Qing at all costs, infiltrating the banquet herself, and working with Ren to monitor the situation throughout the venue.
However, five minutes before the explosion, Bai Luomei had lost contact with Ren.
After the explosion, over a dozen elites lurking in the Mo estate, including Su Cha, were attacked and sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Those "pseudo-deviants" were far more stealthy and powerful than they had imagined, and their target was indeed Xianyu Qing.
Nangong Ao knew clearly that someone within the organization had leaked a major secret of the Nangong family. It seemed the time had come to purge the house!
Nangong Ao ordered Ren to continue tracking, then said to Cui Hao, "Summon Mo Haoyuan here. Tell him it’s for the sake of uncovering the truth behind last night’s explosion at the Mo estate!"
"Yes!"
Cui Hao immediately called the Mo residence.
The call was answered by the Mo family butler: "I am very sorry! My young master is currently at the police station assisting with the investigation and has not yet returned."
Because of the banquet incident, the elder Mr. Mo had suffered another health crisis, and his two sons were also in a state of utter confusion.
The Mo family had hosted this banquet solely due to the old man's stubbornness. They never imagined such a major tragedy would occur.
At first, they assumed their rivals had used this event to strike at them before the next election. But when they realized the explosion was merely a diversion—as all the guests were essentially unharmed, except for the Nangong family—they suspected the Nangong family was behind it!
Still, since the incident occurred at the Mo estate, they were not blameless. They used their connections to have Mo Haoyuan released from the police station so he could investigate the truth alongside Nangong Ao.
Meanwhile, after regaining consciousness, Bai Luomei was startled to find that she was not in the Mo family banquet hall, but lying in an elegant and comfortable bedroom.
She tried to sit up abruptly, but a wave of dizziness forced her back down. Along with the dizziness came a deep sense of physical exhaustion and soreness.
"You have just woken up from a hypnotic state, so don't push yourself," a cold, clear voice came from the balcony.
Bai Luomei turned her head to see Zhai Muli, dressed in a crisp white suit, strolling in. He sat on the sofa against the wall opposite her, watching her with an inscrutable expression.
"It’s you!" Fury and hatred ignited in Bai Luomei’s eyes. She tried to stand again but failed.
Zhai Muli crossed his legs, leaned back elegantly, and lifted his chin slightly. "You had better lie still! Even if your Bai family possesses healing abilities, they are ineffective against the side effects of mental hypnosis."
The side effects of a forced interruption after being hypnotized would not fade for at least a day or two.
Bai Luomei longed to rip the mask off this hypocrite, but as he said, her body had not yet recovered, and she could only sit weakly on the edge of the bed, glaring at him.
"Don't be smug. The Nangong family won't let you off!"
Zhai Muli chuckled softly. "Right now, Nangong Ao is running around like a headless chicken trying to find his distant cousin! He has no time to come looking for me."
Bai Luomei was furious: "You are despicable!"
Zhai Muli raised an eyebrow. "Despicable? If I hadn't had someone knock you out and bring you here, you would be sitting in a police station as a prime suspect right now!"
As he spoke, he tapped his phone. On the wall behind him, a video appeared showing Bai Luomei knocking out Mo family security guards and entering the surveillance room.
In the footage, shortly after she entered, the sounds of explosions and screaming began. Bai Luomei walked out of the room with an expressionless face, holding a black remote control.
Just as she was about to press the remote again, Asi ran up from behind. Before he could speak, she kicked him away.
Asi stared at her in shock, but she pulled a small pistol from her coat and aimed it at him.
Asi threw several throwing knives at her; she dodged, but a knife grazed the back of her hand, and the gun fell to the floor.
Asi seized the opportunity to attack, and the two began to fight. Suddenly, two men in black appeared, and together with her, they beat Asi to the ground.
The video ended abruptly there.
Bai Luomei watched in shock and anger: "That is not me!"
It could not be her; someone must have been disguised as her!
But how could she explain the wound on the back of her hand?
Bai Luomei recalled the night before, remembering only that she had seen two women entangled with Nangong Lu.
She had instructed Ren over the walkie-talkie to keep a close watch on the surveillance for any suspicious individuals.
Because she could not reveal herself, she had called a nearby waiter to ask the Mo family butler to help Nangong Lu out of the situation.
Later, those two women spilled red wine on Nangong Lu, and Xianyu Qing was also splashed. Su Cha had taken Xianyu Qing to a second-floor lounge with a waitress.
Bai Luomei noticed that the shoes the waitress was wearing were different from those of the other staff, and sensing something was wrong, she had followed them.
