Li Ran kept her eyes tightly shut, not daring to look at him. She waited for his next move, her entire body tensed and motionless with anxiety.

She heard Ye Huai take a deep breath, and then suddenly, her body was wrapped in a thick quilt and tossed onto the bed. Fortunately, the quilt was heavy enough to cushion the fall, so she wasn't hurt.
