Regarding the update.

Dear readers, I have seen your votes and requests for more chapters.

Things have been quite difficult lately. I have been under pressure to meet deadlines elsewhere, and I have been pulling an all-nighter since nine o'clock yesterday.

I wanted to write a chapter of "Slaying Immortals," but after twenty hours without sleep, I simply cannot go on. I tried to type a few lines, but nothing felt right. Perhaps it is because I have been writing too much light fiction recently.

Please allow me to get some sleep. I will post a chapter of "Slaying Immortals" as soon as I wake up.

I am not dead, nor have I run away; I am just checking in from the grave to explain. I am truly too ashamed to face you all. The lack of updates fills me with such remorse that I nearly considered throwing myself into the Wu River.
